Air Transat Club Class #Review

Air Transat Club Class Review: December 2016

flightplannn

Travelife Partner status is by no means an easy industry achievement, but after 10 years of commitment to sustainability efforts in May 2016 Transat became the first tour operator in North America to earn Travelife Partner status. An achievement that Jean-Marc Eustache, current president and CEO and all the Transat team are sure to be proud of. Therefore, when the opportunity came to collaborate with Air Transat the obvious answer was – Yes! Flying from Toronto to Manchester the Airbus A310-300 was going to be our carriage in the clouds that featured the recently redesigned cabin which consisted of 250 seats, 12 in Club Class and 238 in Economy Class. “Come fly with me, lets fly, lets fly away”…Air Transat will make your time in the sky part of your holiday…

Medieval Times Toronto Castle #Review

Medieval Times Toronto Castle Review: December 2016

intromedivalblogLovely lords and ladies no need to engage in battle, put down your sword, disarm your lance, as an inviting grand entrance awaits to take you on a journey into historic medieval times.  Granted the VIP Royalty package, we certainly felt like the king and queen of the castle, as we bypassed the lines via a royal red VIP carpet that led us directly into our very own Toronto Castle!!  In loyal service, our wench Emily welcomed our arrival and crowned us with our black and white crowns which only meant one thing.  Our cheers this evening would be for our loyal, brave and bold “Black and white Knight”.  After a brief pose with the King and queen, for our framed group entrance photo, onwards we went into an amazing hall where a knight addressed the royal subjects from an impressive coat of arms platform.  However, as VIPs we had instant access to the arena…so onwards we galloped looking forward to the adventures that awaited….

NOW what would you do with…24 Hours in Toronto?

NOW What would you do with 24hours in Toronto: 3rd December 2016

Being asked “how I would spend 24 hours in my favourite city” was an easy question – Tick Tock…Toronto in 24 hours the countdown has begun…

Catch the ferry to Toronto Billy Bishop Airport and just the location in itself is a hidden gem, as the views looking back at the city skyscraper backdrop are incredible. Things got a bit cheesy posing for photos at the side of our own private helicopter, but what the heck this is definitely an activity worth smiling about. Strapped in position, head sets and microphones in place and no need to worry about congested city traffic, as the radio waves opened to the tune of “roger roger are we ready for take-off”. Adrenaline was pumping, as the pilot began his ascent…up up and away as we soared into the air for an aerial adventure of a lifetime. Core city landmarks such as the CN tower, Rogers stadium and Lake Ontario are visible in all their glory. In fact the whole city is, breath-taking views, sensational scenery and there was an uplifting calmness during flight. Surprising considering that we were at 2000 feet and flying at an average speed of 100 miles an hour! Continue reading
