Founders Mark Husak who’s specialism lies in the craft beer market and Mayur Patel with his extensive foodie knowledge using recipes passed down from his parents and grandparents, have brought a much needed element of spice into the Manchester Piccadilly area. Pen and Pencil have taken their inspiration from the ‘Mad Men’ creative revolution, as you can see from the restroom décor and combined with the new, as the place has a central perk style feel, with the Cosy seating, industrial features such as the cool light fixtures and of course what New York style eatery would be complete without a great big stonking ‘show off’ centrepiece coffee machine!
