Neighbourhood Restaurant Manchester Afternoon Tea #Review ***UPDATE – THIS RESTAURANT HAS NOW CLOSED***

Neighbourhood Restaurant Manchester Afternoon Tea Review: May 2017

My Spinningfields Sunday Session always feel incomplete without a visit to the glam and Glitzy Neighbourhood Restaurant and Bar. Summer Sun shining, we fancied both a mixture of sweet and savoury treats, so we opted for Neighbourhoods very own chic creative contemporary city afternoon tea.

They talk about wearing your heart on your sleeve well Neighbourhoods Pastry Chef Michael Lambert from Accrington has done just that by having his passion and love for culinary delights tattooed on his arms. Tattoos include macaroons, Battenberg cake and many more sweet delights. The Afternoon Tea consisted of fabulous finger sandwiches, super scrummy scones with lashings of jam and cream, and deliciously delightful lush sweet treats including macaroons, Battenberg, mini chocolate éclairs, and lovely lemon meringues.

This amazing Afternoon Tea was all washed down with a perfect Pornstar Martini that was shaken up with Absolut Vanilla, butterscotch schnapps, vanilla and caramel syrup, pineapple, lemon juice, passion fruit puree, Prosecco. Also, an exquisite Espresso Martini, which was a mix of Absolut, Kahlua, vanilla syrup and espresso. All the team worked well and Hannah, Thomas, Jacob and Tom all did an amazing job at ensuring the most relaxed Afternoon Tea experience, as we listened to the jamming tunes of the one and only Dean Mac.

A united and aspirational Neighbourhood for Everyone #OurNeighbourhood #YourNeighbourhood.

Thank you for reading 🙂

  1. Little places like this are so much fun. There are a couple around where we live that my husband and I like to stop at for lunch.
