Primrose’s Kitchen Muesli and Granola Review

Primrose’s Kitchen Muesli and Granola Review: May 2017

Primrose Matheson suffered from chronic fatigue in her youth which motivated her to understand the workings of the body and how to keep healthy. This led her to study Naturopathic and Complementary health studies and a degree in Homeopathy. Primrose believes in her customers, listening to their bodies and being empowered through the foods that they consume. Educating herself on all things healthy, Primrose has made this customer journey of empowerment easier, by creating some fabulous Muesli and Granola combinations.

The naturopathic lifestyle for Primrose is of central importance, where the focus is on a balanced lifestyle from the food we eat, the people we surround ourselves with and the exercise we engage in.  Also, Living and working in the delightful Dorset unspoiled Countryside a focus towards Environmental concerns is at the heart of the Primrose’s Kitchen brand. Packaging is made to be recyclable or compostable wherever possible, ingredients are sought from sustainable organic farms and any food waste is given to fabulous Fern a local Dorset pet pig to scoff. I love the fact that the brand supports the charity, Surfers Against Sewage on our boxes, as they do inspiring work to clear up our Seas.

The mouth-watering muesli and gorgeous granolas, that I received, are amazingly all gluten-free and vegan friendly. Additionally, they are slowly dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve nutrients & enzymes. The products were of high quality, had innovative flavour combinations and were extremely versatile. The Organic Goji, Black Pepper & Lemon Granola, made an ideal crumble top for my home baked apple pots with fresh vanilla ice cream. Organic Orange & Cashew Granola made the most perfect home baked breakfast bites and with an organic apple tea it was a perfect paring. The Organic Courgette & Cacao Granola layered amongst homemade ice cream with lashings of homemade cherry sauce made a knicker blocker glory style super treat which was yummilicious. Both the Raw Carrot, Apple & Cinnamon Muesli and Raw Beetroot & Ginger Muesli makes the post perfect, simple and easy gifts, tip into a jar, add a ribbon and there you have it!

Begin your own journey of self empowerment by heading on over to Primrose’s website and checking out these fab foodie finds.

  1. We’re huge granola lovers at our house. Can’t wait to give this brand a try. Any company who sells an organic product and has a sustainable plan in everything from their packaging to the left overs? They’re a win in my book!

  2. I think I’m in granola heaven! I love granola with anything (in smoothies, with fruit, with yoghurt, with ice cream, on pancakes) – it’s the best way of me getting fibre into my diet. The Organic Courgette & Cacao Granola sounds amazing! x
