Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauces #Review

Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauces Review: September 2017

Jack Daniel was not a fictitious character and was in fact a real person and the creator of Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Whiskey in 1866. Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Whiskey is made using quality and old school methods, at one of America’s oldest registered distilleries in Lynchburg Tennessee.  Packed into the glaze and sauces is either real Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Whiskey or Tennessee Honey.

Jack Daniel’s ® range of barbecue sauces have launched under license by the Baxters Food Group. Excited to be sent a full case of Jack Daniels barbeque sauces, which included Full Flavor Smokey, Smooth Original, Extra Hot Habanero and Smokey Sweet Barbecue Glaze, I was ready to create some Vegetarian foodie delights.

The key to a brilliant breakfast is to keep things simple, so after serving up some gorgeous grilled mushrooms, vegetarian sausages, toast, a side of beans finished off with a tomato, I dolloped some of the rich and Smooth Original Barbecue Sauce, into a clear glass jar, so I could enjoy generous helpings of this luxury sauce and dip away to my heart’s content.

Smash up some sweet potatoes, season and mix with some of the Smokey Barbecue Sauce. Spoon the mixture onto a homemade seeded roll, top off with a half-roasted pepper, cheese, greens to garnish and you guessed a extra helping of JD sauce at the side and voilà a lovely lush lunch.

Mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers and vegetarian sausage made some sensational skewers, glazed with the gorgeous Smokey Sweet Barbecue Glaze and served up with a handful of wedges made a divine dinner.

Feel the heat with the Extra hot habanero barbecue sauce, which made the perfect sauce base for my fiery hot mushroom, tomato pasta.

Feeling saucy? Well why not grab yourself some of these super sauces and get your creative juices flowing.

Thank you for reading 😊

  1. Now I’m not sure if these sauces are really my kinda thing, as I’m not a massive fan of whisky/bourbon, but I know they serve them in TGI Friday’s and a lot of my friends like them. The Extra Hot Habanero intrigues me, as I love spicy food x
