Vapiano Manchester Corn Exchange World Pasta Day Review: October 2017
In 2002 Hamburg, Germany, saw the opening of the very first Vapiano. The brand is seeing continued growth and there are over 191 Vapianos in 32 countries on 5 continents. The company ethos is focused on an old Italian proverb: “Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano” which is about a relaxed and easy-going approach to life which in turn will provide you with a longer and happier life.
In celebration of World Pasta Day, I was invited down to Vapiano located in Manchester Corn Exchange for some Italian food flare and fun. The delightful décor is a mix of vibrant yet subdue lighting, amazing arches, sociable long oak tables and cosy hubs to enjoy relaxed time and conversation with family, friends or guests while dining on some fabulous fresh Italian food and drinks.
Vapianos impressive Pasta Master machine creates fresh pasta daily on site to stock up their shelfs ready for the Pasta loving crowds. The Vapiano way is genius, as you can see there are different stations in where you can rock up, get interactive and watch your authentic Italian dish being cooked live in front of you, by one of their creative chefs. Vapiano give you full control and choice where you decide what pasta type you would like and can individually refine your dish.
Our Pasta Perfection included the Pesto Rosso mixed up with cherry tomatoes, tomato pesto, ricotta cheese and pine nuts. Also, the Pesto Basilico flavoured with basil pesto, olive oil and pine nuts. All washed down with the awesome Aperol Spritz Cocktail created with Prosecco, Aperol and soda water. Finally, the Cloud Factory New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc a complex clean refreshing wine which was of the higest quality.
Delicious dolci included the Panna cotta mini with layers of crumbled chocolate and a beautiful berry sauce which paired perfectly with their lush Raspberry Bellini made with Prosecco, Chambord and fresh raspberries.
Celebrate Wonderful World Pasta Day every day at the fabulously friendly Vapiano Manchester.
Thanks for reading 😊

Homemade pasta is fantastic and all…..but do they make homemade gelato???
A plate of lasagna and a bowl of gelato is heaven on earth!! This sounds like a fun place and to watch your meal get cooked is always great.
