Nibble Northern Quarter Review Manchester: October 2017
Nestled on Oldham street in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter is the friendly and unpretentious Nibble. A cute café with a chilled vibe where the focus is about personalised customer service and staff engaging in genuine conversation. The décor is relaxed with cosy cushions, quirky light fittings, retro outdoor tables and chairs, planters and various greenery which gave the place a secret garden feel. A lovely local little hub to catch up with friends, family or simply relax and watch the world go by.
efreshments required, we opted for the brilliant ‘Berry Good’ smoothie shaken up with strawberries, raspberries and blueberries which was as the title suggests ‘very good’. The fabulous freshly squeezed pure orange juice tasted lush and was like sunshine in a glass.
Business owner the lovely Lauren and her team prepared our brilliant breakfasts fresh onsite. We opted for the Vegan Breakfast which consists of a vegan Sausage, falafel, tomato, wild mushrooms, avocado, beans and garlic crostini. Also, the Vegetarian Breakfast which includes a veggie sausage, scrambled egg, tomato, halloumi, wild mushrooms, beans and toast. Both breakfasts were spot on and scoffed in record time. Dietary requirements are well catered for with the place providing gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options.
Lauren also kindly provided us with some cakes to take on our journey up to the Lake district which were welcomed and tasted scrummy. Pop along to this lovely local independent café with top notch food, drinks and importantly all served up with a smile.
Thanks for reading 😊
