Novotel Liverpool Centre #Review

Novotel Liverpool Centre Review: July 2018

Destination Liverpool, on Hanover Street, is the location of 4 star Novotel Liverpool Centre.  A stylish hotel, in a convenient, centralised position for you to take advantage of all that Liverpool City centre has to offer.

Executive accommodations provide a relaxed and focused experience where you already have everything you need to make your stay a smooth one.

The wardrobe had plenty of space for you to store all your wears along with complimentary slippers and a fluffy robe for the duration of your stay.  You will notice the door, behind which is a separate enclosed toilet area.

Amenities included a fully stocked tea tray with Belgian biscuits, a Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary bottled water, already chilled and waiting, in the mini fridge.

The room offered a spacious sanctuary with a super cosy bed, entertainment unit, work desk area with a Bose Ipod docking station and wonderful wi-fi.

The swivel flat screen television allows you to catch up on the news or watch a move from the comfort of your bed or desk area.  The super smart swivel desk is handy, as can be used flat as a vanity area with mirror in place or is easily interchangeable to watch television or make any required telephone calls.

The double doors lead onto a contemporary Bathroom with rain shower and separate had held shower unit.  Also, a handy built in wood storage shelves, ideal for storing all those beauty products.

The marvellous mirror is well lit and there is a whole host of executive superior complimentary bathroom goodies including fabulous Fairtrade Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and soap.  Also, essentials such as a comb, dental set, shaving set, shower cap, vanity set, shoe shine sponge and a sewing kit which cuts down on the baggage, and the need to pack extras.

Now all settled in, it’s time for some you time.  Head on down to the leisure area and take a dip in their gorgeous heated swimming pool.  After your dip, grab a book, rest on a recliner and chill poolside.

Their fabulous fitness suite has everything any fitness bunny requires to keep themselves in peak performance.

Offering a range of weights and training equipment, you can row, run or cycle, as you watch the poolside atmosphere to keep your mind focused.  After training, work up a sweat of a different kind, and hit the steam room for a relaxed session.

Along with the electronic code operated lockers, there is a plentiful supply of towels, so when you have worked up a sweat, they have all your needs covered.

The in house, Rope Walks bar and Kitchen, has all your foodie requirements sorted.  The décor has been designed with Liverpool’s rich sailing heritage in mind along with a sprinkle of the brilliant Beatles band.

Theming subtle in style and tasteful, creates an ideal place to meet friends, family, a loved one or colleagues for a get together over food and drinks.

A must is to let Pedro mix you up a cocktail or in my case a marvellous mocktail! Pedro has natural talent and flare for creating the perfect mix of combination and flavours.  While Pedro got his shake on, we chowed down on these yummy vegetarian nuggets with dipping sauce, fresh cucumber slices and hummus dip.

Loving the Liverpool Love Lane battered Fish and Chips with peas and tartare sauce and the sensational superfood salad was a fab fresh dinner option.

Delve into their delicious desserts with this fab vegan raspberry frangipane tart with raspberry coulis or opt for the lovely local cheese board, with grapes, biscuits and a nice dollop of chutney.

After an exciting evening in Liverpool city centre and a good night’s sleep, why not keep the good times coming and enjoy an in-room breakfast.

Opt for a continental vibe with fresh fruit, prunes, porridge, pastries with a range of preserves and fresh orange juice.

Or perhaps you fancy some of the hot stuff?  With full English and Vegetarian breakfast options, and a choice of breakfast, herbal teas and coffee, you are spoilt for choice.  So cosy up on the bed or chill at the swivel desk area, making morning in room dining, a laid back relaxed affair.

  1. I have never stayed in at a Novotel before but glad you had a terrific accommodation. Especially love their bathroom 😀 haha! Will check them out when we have a vacation in the Liverpool Centre area!

  2. I like the desk in the room, is so useful for people who need to do work as well when they travel. I know that I do, as a freelancer, and in most of the hotels I have to do my work in bed as there is no desk. The bed looks very comfy too.

    1. Nah turn it round…still can stay locally for a chilled break away without the stress of travel or why not perhaps pop in and visit the bar and restaurant, as you don’t need to be a resident to visit. Also, there are lots of other Novotel locations like Manchester x

  3. I love how big and comfortable the bed is with lots of space to walk around the room. The wardrobe space is good to keep everything tidied. I’ve been to Liverpool once but would like to go again and do more of the tourist things
