Can you Escape Edinburgh opened their escape room brand back in 2014 and has since won many awards and accolades including Scotland’s best family day out, has been named the best performing small business by the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and received two TripAdvisor certificates of excellence.

Mission: Operation Odyssey, an out of this world, galactic space adventure for all you budding astronauts out there.  Lucky to become Space cadets, along with our commander, we embarked on our solar system star gazing mission on the International space station, but things soon took a drastic turn.

“Houston, we have a problem, the escape pod needs to be fixed”.  Somewhat a muffled and crackled radio signal, but luckily Houston received our distress signal and concluded that an unexpected meteor shower struck the main ship.

All the main power systems are down, we need to restore, reboot and make our escape in the pod, before we are flung out into a black hole, never to be seen again.  Not just gravity to contend with, but time is of short supply too, as the next meteor shower strike is predicted in 60 minutes!!

We would be happy to be beamed up to Scotland anytime to play this super sensational space mission, but the key question is can you defy gravity, fix the systems and escape?

  1. looks like a lot of fun. I have never tried an escape mission but have heard lots about them recently. Ill have to give it a try with some family and friends

  2. I so love escape rooms. My husband and I go for date nights and we have only made it out of 2 so far…. and we have done many… some a few times lol

  3. That does look fun! We’ve only ever done one escape room before – it was on board HMS Belfast in London .. that one was obviously warship-related. I quite fancy a space-themed one!
