COSMO Authentic World Kitchen Manchester #Review

COSMO Authentic World Kitchen Manchester Review: March 2019

Located on Deansgate in Manchester City Centre, COSMO Authentic World Kitchen is the perfect place to go if you want to travel the foodie world minus the air fare.

Since opening in 2003 COSMO has expanded across both the UK and Ireland.  Making an ideal place for a family gathering, catch up with friends or a delightful date night.

After a major refurbishment, décor now has an Asian influence, a smart set up, with stripped wood, a beautiful water fountain and beautiful bar area.

The bar is a perfect place for a pina colada mocktail and a bottle of Brooklyn beer before heading to your table to chow down.  COSMO offered a range of fab drink options such as speckled hen and an off menu Virgin Mojito.

The restaurants system is simple, pay a set price per person for the food buffet and then you can sample as much fabulous food from a vast range such as Indian, Chinese, Sushi and teppanyaki.

The Chinese counter included Salt & pepper chips, Salt & pepper Chicken wings, Beef in blackbean sauce, Honey chicken wings, Vegetable spring rolls, Noodles, prawn crackers and much more.

Delicacies included seafood, seaweed, crispy duck pancakes and a range of freshly prepared offerings from the live teppanyaki stations.  A theatrical interactive and engaging culinary display.

Indian offerings included chickpea curry, Chicken curry, rice, onion bhajis, samosas, nann bread, poppadum’s, mango chutney and a whole range of other exciting dishes.

International offerings included Italian food such as pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagne and garlic bread.

Also, Full roast dinners could be had along with a range of healthy self-service salads.

Finish of sweet, with the COSMO ice cream maker, sweets, marshmallows and dip your way into their marvellous fabulous foundation of all things chocolatey.

Delicious desserts included mini donuts, chocolate eclairs, chocolate brownie and my personal favs the carrot cake and rhubarb slice.  Healthy options included fabulous fresh fruit offerings which was great to see.

Thank you to Rosa, Brodie, Emily, Demi and Acasia for taking care of us throughout service.

Thank you for reading 😊

  1. I’ve not been to Cosmo in years. There’s one in Coventry and I hard they’re opening one in Northampton where we live. My eldest would love it, actually both girls would as they love their food and as for the chocolate fountain, I think I’d have to tear them away!!

  2. Such a wonderful place! And so many delicious plates! Since I left the big city I miss that kind of restaurants and all the food from different countries.
