INNSIDE by Meliá Manchester Hotel – Review: March 2019

Just a short walk away from Deansgate and Manchester Central, INNSIDE is located in the vibrant and fabulous First Street development in the heart of Manchester city centre.

The inviting reception area, with their branded #Worktripping welcome mat, a clean contemporary space, with floral décor and a nice touch is the unique Manchester themed graffiti art on the central column.

The seating and chill out zone at the hotel reception area provides a relaxed spacious and stylish space to kick back and relax.

Fly high and opt for an amazing INNSIDE City view King room, located on the 8th, 9th and 10th floors, providing an enviable city view with the WOW factor.

The open plan design and layout gives a spacious feel and provides a cosy hub for guests to enjoy some me time.  There was a 32 inch television and high-speed Wi-Fi to make keeping connected and entertainment easy.

The bathroom complete with bath, overhead power shower, large vanity area with both a fully illuminated and magnifying mirrors along with Sampar complimentary toiletries.

INNSIDE leave you wanting for nothing, as the room came with a wonderful wardrobe stocked with a complimentary tea tray and a mini bar with soft drinks, juices and water again incredibly all included complimentary.

Additionally, the snug fluffy robes and funky slippers provided, make you feel at home, and are ideal to use during the duration of your stay.

Whether you are #worktripping or on a leisure break INNSIDE have you covered with a wonderful workstation, that can double up as a vanity area.  Also, city views to absorb while you work or chill.

Street on First is an exciting bar and restaurant with marvellous Manchester at their core.  Taking on different moods from Daylight to Nightfall including a weekend DJ which gives the place a good vibe.

Providing a relaxed and warm informal service style, the restaurant was perfect spot for a lovely lunch or delicious dinner.

The Food concept, at Street on First, is all about ‘Food for a Social Mood’.  We opted to share the Heirloom tomato and red onion bruschetta, a simple but super sensational dish.

Mouth-watering mains included the fabulous Fish and Chips, tartare pickle and mushy peas.  Also, the classic Caesar salad with tofu and a side of fries.  The food was washed down with a pint of Maltsmiths and also a refreshing Virgin Mojito.

For dessert, we got social and shared the Street on 1st classic sundae, chocolate brownie, salted caramel ice cream, toffee popcorn and fruit jelly.

The hotel is ideal if you want to go Out Out in Manchester city centre or if you do decide to stay ‘Innside’ the place has atmosphere, a weekend DJ and an amazing foodie menu to keep you entertained.

Fancy some Rest and relaxation, then head to the onsite wellness Suite offering Finnish sauna, aromatic steam room & relaxation area.

Want to work up a sweat, then hit the onsite gym fully equipped with all you need for a good workout.

Motivated mornings begin at Street on First, so take a seat perhaps under their beautiful in house tree and enjoy a tea or a juice.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful providing something for everyone without compromising on quality.

Continental offerings such as the fresh fruit, pastries, cake slice, preserves, granola, tea and juices was a real tasty treat.

Hot options included full buffet breakfast with bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, mushrooms, toast along with an option of vegetarian sausages too.

Visiting Manchester, well get the INNSIDE action, be ‘In’ and stay at the INNSIDE by Meliá.
