Wonderful Wildwood York city centre is a beautiful bespoke and bright restaurant, with a fabulous friendly team who provide relaxed vibes and a place to feel at home.

The quality food menu is good value for money too, with a combination of the classics with contemporary additions including pizza, pasta, grills and much more scrummy offerings.

Super starters included the Marinated olives, Bruschetta Caprese with smashed avocado, sun kissed tomato, torn mozzarella & basil with lashings of balsamic glaze and the fabulous Four cheese arancini goat’s with Red Leicester, mozzarella, cheddar served in fresh tomato sauce.  All washed down with a Meantime Pale Ale and an awesome Virgin Mojito cocktail made with fresh mint, lime, sugar syrup and soda.

LOCKEDIN Games York #Review

LOCKEDIN Games York Review: April 2019

LOCKEDIN Games York, located opposite the Yorkshire Museum, is an exciting escape experience where you and your squad can test their mind and motivation to see if you have all got what it takes to escape within 60 minutes.

Both Rages to Riches and Caught in the Act, custom built escape rooms, cleverly incorporate York as a theme, while still retaining the quality and authenticity of the rooms.

Puzzles made sense and structured well, challenged your mind, but without frustration.  The games masters are also super duper lovely too.

Caught in the Act Escape Room

It’s your time to get your razzle dazzle on, be the star of the show and with jazz hands at the ready you open the dressing room door to make your grand stage entrance, but only to find the door has been locked.

Sabotage by your under study or perhaps a simple door jam hmm? Either way all that matters is you must get out within 60 minutes, as the Show must go on with or without you and you don’t want your acting career to be over before it’s begun.

Grand Opera House York Club Tropicana #Review

Grand Opera House York Club Tropicana Review: April 2019

The gorgeous Grand Opera House prepared their best 80’s vibes, as they hosted the brilliant brand new 80s inspired Musical, from the producers of the hit UK tour of Hairspray, Club Tropicana.

The all-star cast features the likes of Joe McElderry (X Factor winner and star of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Emily Tierney (Wicked, The Wizard of Oz), Kate Robbins (Spitting Image, Dinnerladies), Neil McDermott (EastEnders, The Sound of Music); and former Sugababe star Amelle Berrabah.

Leave your worries behind you, board the plane, feel that heat and sizzle of the summer sunshine and top up your tan. Let your hair down, as the cast take you on a trip back to the 80’s, as you check into the Club Tropicana where the drinks are free and good times are plentiful.

Beautiful bride and groom get cold feet, so jet of for some fun in the sun with friends only to have checked into the same hotel. With love potentially still in the air, hotel inspectors trying to close the resort and staff holding up the fort, this hilarious slapstick cheesy production is sure to get your smile on.
