A Date Night stay in Manchester with Buyagift – Review: May 2019

Date night inspiration required, well look no further, as Buyagift have everything you need to super spoil your loved one and make their date night extra special.

We opted for the Buyagift package which included a one night stay with breakfast at the 5-star iconic Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester.

The Radisson is located in the home of Manchester’s historic Free Trade Hall and is the original home to the Hallé Orchestra, which is steeped in history and old school decadence and charm.

Make your way through the airy, impressive and exquisite lobby, which hosts a mix of eclectic contemporary décor including these super stunning lighting features.

The bedroom was a chic and contemporary space with a super double bed, both cosy and snug, providing a plentiful space to get lot’s of the Zzz’s in before a busy day the following morning.

The Bathroom features a bath tub, toilet and a full stand up shower wet area along with REN toiletries.

Make date night even more fab with a Buyagift Smartbox experience which provides cinema tickets and dinner for 2.

There are a range of restaurant choices, but we selected Zizzi’s on King Street Manchester.

Zizzi’s King Street is the perfect place to chow down in a relaxed informal setting with friendly fab staff which make your visit easy and chilled.

The three course menu, included within the offer is brilliant, but as we were short on time we opted to use the value of the voucher and try the veggie Ravioli Di Capra, a gorgeous Goat’s cheese & spinach-flecked ravioli with a tomato sauce, super green pesto & pine nuts.

Also, the amazing vegan lovely Lentil Linguine Ragù, a Rich Italian lentil ragù with baby sunblush tomatoes, kale & linguine.  All washed down with Peroni, Zizzi offers both alcohol and non-alcohol versions, so all good.

Next, we headed over to the Printworks, with our two cinema tickets, to check out the showings at Vue Cinema.

We opted to watch Little, a fab fun film with some real Laugh Out Loud moments, ideal date night movie material.

After a lovely night’s sleep, we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast, which was part of the Buyagift one night stay package at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester.

There was a range of bountiful and beautiful buffet breakfast offerings such as the cold selections which consisted of Homemade breads, seeds and berries, seasonal fresh fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, muesli, flavoured yogurts and freshly squeezed juices.

The hot buffet selection included scrambled eggs, smoked streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage, baked beans, grilled mushrooms, hash browns and roasted vine cherry tomatoes.

Why not enjoy a little you time and head down to the hotel’s new and fully refurbished onsite gym, pool & spa area.

The ideal place to workout, take a dip in the pool, enjoy the Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, experience showers or simply chill poolside.

End your date night stay on a high, after some shopping and sightseeing, enjoy an Afternoon tea for two at the 5-star iconic Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester with Buyagift.

The brilliant Birch room, located in the stunning and sensational Free Trade Hall, is an ideal intimate setting for some super sweet treats and chill out time.

An amazing Afternoon tea offering with fresh finger sandwiches, scones, jam, clotted cream and a range of sweets.  All washed down with tea of coffee.
