Malmaison Manchester Hotel #Review

Malmaison Manchester Hotel Review: July 2019

Located just minutes away from Piccadilly train station, in a bustling and vibrant hub, this boutique Manchester city centre hotel is a must stay while in the city.

Transformed from an elegant 19th century warehouse, the Malmaison hotel is chic, contemporary and characterful.

On arrival, through the revolving doorway you re met with this super cool and quirky bit of tech, an amazing digital display with moving goldfish!

Executive Rooms

Executive rooms are super stylish, with muted colours and Manchester themed artwork to provide an ideal space for a business trip or city leisure break away.

Enjoy the view and people watch away as you enjoy a biscuit and tea from the complimentary in room tea tray.

The bathroom, well designed, spacious and the perfect place to pamper and get ready for that all-important business pitch or to enjoy the city sights.

Special occasion or fancy even more space…well why not go all out and opt for one of the Mal’s Suites.

The Manchester Suite

Room 207 or 507, you decide, but either way you will be in an expansive open plan plush space which will take your breath away.

Room 207 offered a super cosy bed and a fabulous flat-screen television and all the mod cons this suite is a sweet way to stay.

We loved the perks of the suite which included fluffy robes, branded slippers, complimentary water, coffee machine and a fully stocked tea tray, that made our stay super snug.

With a walk-in shower, the bathroom is one to indulge and enjoy for sure.

.Enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail before having a dining delight in the onsite Chez Mal brasserie.

Chez Mal a smart space, décor a mix of contemporary and industrial chic with cosy booth seating space and tables for two.

Starters began with a sensational Mozzarella, watermelon heritage tomato salad and some super scallops.

Mains included a mouthwatering Moroccan tagine with rice and flatbread.  also, a massive steak with onion rings, vine tomatoes and peppercorn sauce. Bang on some fries to make your meal even more mouth-watering.

Delicious desserts included this brilliant brownie topped with caramelised banana, slated caramel ice cream and chocolate sauce.  The cheese plate was also divine.

After a lovely night’s sleep why not hit the gym and pump up the volume, healthy body equals a healthy mind.

For me breakfast alone is one reason why I’d be more than happy to stay at the Mal Manchester.

Loved the range of continental buffet foodie offerings such as boxed cereals, fresh fruit, pastries and juices.

A massive plus point is that the hot food is served to you rather than a buffet, so making breakfast more chilled out and relaxed for sure.  Both the vegetarian and meat offerings were amazing and well presented.

Before you leave, book out a little you time and make sure to relax at the onsite signature spa.

Malmaison Manchester, a home away from home, fabulous and friendly staff with brilliant breakfast offerings and beautiful brasserie, whats not to like.

Thank you for reading 😊
