Breakout Manchester Captured A and Disturbed Escape Games Review: September 2019
Manchester High Street, just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Manchester Arndale shopping complex, is in an ideal city centre location.
Captured
Becci our lovely games master, made her introductions and it was time to let game play commence.
Team and I just going about leading our regular life’s suddenly find ourselves locked in an abandoned basement with no obvious route of escape – captured!
Some people are ungrateful to be alive, the idea of the game creator and his sinister game play. A creepy feeling takes over, as a video begins to play… if you don’t want to play well you will die, so make sure you use your 60 minutes well or your life will come to an end…
Disturbed
Our games master, a lovely lass, gave us confidential information that PC Jennifer Richards, who had been investigating a series of mysterious kidnapping cases, had been missing for over a week.
Following a tip off she went alone to the abandoned Moorton Hospital and since all traces of her have vanished.
My elite SWAT team were chosen to enter the hospital’s eerie corridors to locate PC Richards.
Disguised as Doctor and Patient we went deeper into the hospital, but a voice could be heard through the wall, and it was clear we were not alone…this medical emergency just became a fight for our lives…
Think you have what it takes to Breakout…well give it a go!

I don’t like scary/creepy, so not sure the Captured one would be for me. But I think the Disturbed one would be ok. I am amazed at how well you always do in these things!

These sound like a lot of fun. I wouldn’t do the scary one. I only like scary in movie – where it can’t actually touch me. I know tons of people who would love it, though. I’d love to try the other one, though.

I love finding new and fun escape rooms! I’ve never done a ‘scary’ one so I’d love to try it out with my hubby and enjoy the thrill.

Love that the setting is a hospital and it is so eerie, that sounds like my sort of fun!

Wow! This sounds really creepy and disturbing– the name says it all– ha-ha! I’ve heard so much about escape rooms (each having different themes).

I’ve always wanted to try an escape room but this might be a bit of a scary one to start with! Will add to the list for another time though!

While I’d love to try a Breakout as they sound like a lot of fun, I think this one would be a bit too much for me. I don’t like scary or sinister-sounding things.

I am so not the person for escape rooms as suffer terribly with claustrophobia. My eldest however loves them so will be letting him know about this one!

Aw that is fab stuff, I am sure he would. Any concerns speak with the team and just check with them regarding ages, as not sure how old your son is hun xx

I’m scary and easily grossed out. Creepy is not something I’m fond of, but I like challenges. So I may depending on who I’m with..

Oh wow this sounds both creepy and exciting all at the same time! My husband really wants to try an escape room and I have been looking at a few different ones for Christmas but this one sounds like the best one I have seen so far! Will definitely check it out! x

I watched Game Night and it almost looks like this game. Honestly, I never knew it was a game until it was over. Ha-ha! So surely, this game must have been fun for you, right?

Even though I scare easy, I do like there was more than just one escape to enjoy, this sounds like such a lot of fun, something to do with friends or family.
