The Christmas season is now in full flow, so now is the time to treat yourself to a Christmas stay away.

The Village Hotel Bury in greater Manchester is the perfect place for fabulous festive times and the welcome at reception is warm and wonderful.

They have gone all out on the festive décor including this cute Christmas scene.

Make your stay even more super by opting for one of the classy Club rooms.

Our contemporary club room bed was super snug and cosy with these funky cushions.

The entertainment area included a flat screen television, tea tray and cool circular fan.

The bathroom, a clean chic space with vanity area, stand up rainfall shower and excellent ESPA toiletries.

Club includes extra perks such as sky TV, complimentary use of the VWorks shared workspace and gym.

The onsite gym is absolutely huge, without compromising on quality, allowing people their own head space to train.

The range and variety of training equipment is impressive and manager Steve and his team are on-hand to help. Team member Latti made our visit super smooth and she is a cheery lovely lady.

There is also a large pool, jacuzzi tub, sauna and steam room for club guests to use during their stay.

Now Christmas is the time for indulgence, so why not book into the spa for some you time.

Katy at reception provided a relaxed and welcoming intro and I could not wait to kick back and relax.  The ESPA head massage delivered by my lovely therapist Sarah was a real escape from reality.

Following this my deluxe manicure including my hands being in these heat warming relaxing warming mitts was a lovely treat.

After treatments make use of the spa chill out room, the perfect place to relax and reflect.

Now after all this indulgence, all that is missing is a delicious dinner, so head down to the onsite pub and grill which had a lovely Christmas vibe.

The Pub and Grill team are a friendly bunch and are happy to cater for dietary requirements without faff or fuss.

Starters included a lovely crudité with hummus and olives.  Mouth-watering mains of classic fish & chips with a beautiful quinoa salad with broccoli and avocado both lush.  My plus one scoffed his sticky toffee pudding in no time.

The place had a game rooms vibe with table football and an impressive cinema style lounge area to enjoy viewing in plush comfort.

After all this excitement and fun head back to your club room, chill on the recliner with a cup of tea from the complimentary tea tray.

Breakfast is served in again in the Christmassy looking restaurant, a lovely place to start the day for sure.

There is a buffet that offers a range of options such as cereals, pastries, fruit and yogurts.

There are also hot options including sausages, bacon, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans.
