  6. I love culinary travels! It’s a great way to bring a bit of that place to your home. My boys have had bento lunch boxes for years and they are perfect for them, but I didn’t think about getting some bento plates for at home!

  10. This is great and I’ll try to find a box here. I don’t eat enough of Japanese food even pre-lock down so this is nice to travel through food.

  11. This would be a great gift for my son and his wife. They’ve been planning a trip to Japan, but it was postponed because of the virus, and now my daugher-in-law is pregnant. They won’t be able to visit Japan physically for a while, but they can enjoy some of the tastes at home.

  17. When you talk about visiting Japan from the comfort of your name, this makes sense. Who said one must travel so far to enjoy a Japanese meal. I haven’t tried any of these brands but they come across as reputable and seem to have been in the business for quite some time. Interesting read.

  18. I don’t know much about Japanese cuisine, so this would be the perfect way to experience it at home! One of the best ways to experience another culture is through the food, and these companies sound like they do a great job at creating the experience for you without having to travel.

  19. All of this looks gorgeous and very tasty. I had a Japanese friend in NYC and went to Japanese restaurants with him a few times, but beyond that I have very little knowledge of their food and culture. It would be super interesting to dive in and have a taste with one of these companies.
