A Taste of Italy with Sous Chef Review: July 2020 #Gifted

Sunshine in full heat, it is nice to enjoy some of the ‘La dolce vita’ aka ‘The sweet life’ but in the comfort of your own home.  Sous Chef have a whole range of gorgeous goodies, that are quality and authentic, perfect for a family feast.

Alcohol-free, Gluten Free, Vegan, no problem as Sous Chef have a range of fabulous foodie products no matter what your dietary needs to create a perfect dinner in the comfort of your own home.

Before you do anything, grab a refreshing sparkling drink of Crodino, iconic and one of the most famous non-alcoholic aperitif in Italy, a beautiful drink to sip, while enjoying the sun, cooking and chow down on some scrummy savoury food.

Set the tone with these amazing Al Fresco fig side plates, a perfect addition to any dinner table.  Made with melamine they are lightweight, durable and easy clean, so perfect to take out on a family picnic too.  We love our plates and would well recommend.

Make dinner that bit extra special with some marvellous medium fruity extra virgin olive oil in this pretty polka dot Frantoio Muraglia terracotta bottle is both handmade and hand-painted.  Michelin-starred chef’s Felice Sgarra’s uses this olive oil to dress seafood dishes, so you know it’s good stuff!

The oil has low acidity and is fragrant, so perfect for Mediterranean cooking.  The terracotta beautiful bottle makes for a nice dinner table centre piece and once the oil has been used why not add a few flowers.

Rummo Gluten free pasta in both rigatoni and classic fusilli are the perfect way to create quick easy meals for family and friends who may have dietary needs.

Make up the pasta, season, splash with the medium fruity extra virgin olive oil and serve alongside a tomato & beat salad.

Make brunch beautiful with the Belazu rose harissa pesto a mix of sun-dried tomatoes, gentle spicy rose harissa paste, and aromatic rose petals perfect to make scrambled tofu.

Make your family foodie feasts super scrummy with Sous Chef.

  1. I didn’t even know you could get non-alcoholic aperitif – I’m definitely all for that. I’m also loving the bottle for the olive oil – it’s defintiely something you can keep for refills.
