Breakout Manchester Church Street The Emporium of Magic Escape Game #Review

Breakout Manchester Church Street The Emporium of Magic Escape Game Review: May 2020 #Gifted

Exciting times are ahead for Breakout Manchester, they may have said bye and closed the doors to their original Town Hall site, but they still have two Manchester city centre locations including High Street and the brand-new Church Street site.

Warmly welcomed by the delightful Dave it was good to be back and the whole set up at Church Street is impressive and has been designed with safety in mind.

Spacious, plenty of designated seating areas for you and your team to plan and prepare for your exciting Breakout mission.

Get your team and wands at the ready and be prepared to swish and flick your way out of this spellbinding escape adventure The Emporium of Magic…

Looking for rare magical artefacts, spells and potions, well The Emporium of Magic is the place for you.  Also, if recent rumours are to be believed the alchemist has been mixing a magical potion which will give unlimited magical powers and see the unseen.

Creeping into the Emporium after hours, my team and I look for the recipe, but one problem our break in triggered a spell that has trapped us inside.

Now we had no choice…whip up the potion brew in order to escape, as without it we will be locked within the Emporium forever.

Thumbs up or down, we manged a big thumbs up, as we escaped question is can you!?

Other exciting games, that I would recommend, available at the Church Street site are Cursed Carnival, Sabotage, Vacancy B and Captured B.

Breakout Manchester are back, an exciting Escape game experience, enjoy!

Thank you for reading 😊

  4. I like watching shows with escape room challenges, but personally, I can’t do it! I would freak out. I am a little claustrophobic so you know how that’ll turn out. Haha. Anyway, I do believe my sons and my cousin would love to experience this. I will let them know.

    1. Aw each to their own and you know your own limits, but yes this would be perfect for your sons and cousins. Also, speak to the team regarding your needs, as not all rooms are closed in…this room was not and you are free to leave at any time, but only do what you feel comfortable with hun xx

  5. Wow, this sounds like such a lot of fun! I have never tried anything like this but would really love to! And a magic themed one would be perfect for me!

  6. Escape rooms can be fun based on one’s interest and themes (even though I don’t know so much about it). I personally think I’d prefer a crime theme not a fan of magic and horror. But I guess it’s different strokes for different folks.

  7. Pretty sure I’d whip it up too if that was the only way to escape. I’d like to get my family into a for-fun escape room. I think it would be nice.

  8. I have never tried escape rooms honestly. I guess it is because I am a little claustrophobic. My sons would love to try this out though. I am going to let them know.
