Escape Rooms have been trending now for some time and the trend shows no signs of slowing down.  In fact, Escape Rooms are becoming more technical, magical and super cool meaning for us lucky game players, we get to experience immersive game play at its very best.

From Manchester, Chester, Leeds, Harrogate Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh to London, I have been up and down the country to find my best Escape Room brands.  In no order, here you have my Top UK Escape Rooms…

Chester

Breakout – Excalibur

Breakout Chester is an amazing city centre Escape games brand with rooms such as Dark Magic – I highly recommend, along with Exchalibur.

Brave warriors, prepare to fight the fight, as myself and my fellow knights had been kidnapped from Camelot.  Being held captive in a tower whilst the intruders are disguising themselves as us.

The challenge was to find our way out of the tower, back to the round  table and prove our worth by being the true king by removing the sword from the stone…

Manchester

Escape Reality – Bank Job

Escape Reality, located within the Printworks in Manchester city centre, has a whole range of games to play such as Alcatraz, Enigmista, Tortuga Pirates, The Asylum, Legend of the Mummy and Bank Job.

We grabbed our elite squad of highly skilled bank robbers, as we were amongst the chosen few who had been challenged to infiltrate the security systems at the world’s most protected bank vaults. 

Escape with the diamond within 60 minutes or face life in prison! An exhilarating, exciting and entertaining experience, will your team diamond bank balance go boom or bust!

Escape Hunt – Escape the Wild West

Exciting Escape Hunt Manchester, located in Manchester city centre, is where all the action takes place, as they have a whole range of game themes including Doctor Who, Alice in Wonderland, The Last Vikings, The Last Samurai, Blackbeard’s Treasure and Escape the Wild West.

Howdy partners, the wild west tiny frontier town of East Victoria, has struck gold, so celebrations throughout town are rife.  Not everything that glistens is gold though, as with this news, the bloodthirsty Bill French Gang are riding their way into town to claim the gold and kill everyone in East Victoria.  You best get the gold, before it’s too late or you’ll be shot at dawn.

The contemporary rooms feature a modern bathroom with heated towel rail, complimentary toiletries with bath and/or stand up power shower, so you have all you need to pamper yourself while onsite.

My Top UK Spa Breaks Review 3bFrom day to late evening, the Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa has all the facilities you need including an 18 meters long swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool pictured with the fabulous waterfall feature is the ideal way to relax, revitalise and reinvigorate the mind and body.

The range of therapeutic rooms on offer was extensive including a rock Sauna, Bio Sauna, Steam Room, Aroma Grotto and halotherapy room with dry salt aerosol believed to have a whole range of health benefits.

Treatments are fabulous and includes access to a relaxation suite with complimentary refreshments.

Hotel Indigo and The Club & Spa Birmingham 

Hotel Indigo Birmingham, located on the banks of the cities industrial and historical canal network, located within the cosmopolitan cube complex is a hip and happening hub.

Birmingham’s best kept secret is now out, a lovely luxurious spa in the city where you can indulge and be pampered, while you kick back and relax.

The range of facilities onsite is amazing including uplifting dry and wet thermal rooms, sauna, steam rooms, an incredible vitality pool complete with massage jets and a wonderful waterfall feature.

Escape Reality Birmingham, the exciting and electric location for the Escape room game The Iron Kingdom.  All the onsite team are super lovely, warmly welcoming us and did an amazing job looking after us throughout.

These are dark times, so we had to prepare to do battle for what was rightfully ours, as we team Falcon, are the rightful heirs to the throne.

Seven Kingdoms, the largest continent in the World, is home to seven Nobel families.  However, the Iron Throne in the heart of this Kingdom, has created conflict, war and bloodshed.

News delivered by horse and scroll is rumoured to have declared the current King is not the rightful heir.  Now brave warriors, you must step forward into the fold and prepare to arm yourself and fight your way to victory.

Escape Live Birmingham, under the arches, on Henrietta Street was the place where time didn’t stand still, as we prepared to time travel and be vortexed off into different dimensional parallel worlds.

Game master Guy…what a Guy…friendly, plenty of patience and just a lovely chap.  Guy let us into a secret shush…Jamie Sherman, ingenious inventor, has actually managed to invent the world’s first-time machine.

Step back into 1942, a time the world is at war, Intel has confirmed that the Nazi’s has developed super weapons that could literally wipe Britain off the map.

We were recruited as MI6 top agents to find and destroy this weaponry, within 60 minutes, reporting back to HQ with our successes.

Over 18 and need some time out to de-stress, well prepare to go large, get into your navy-blue overalls to take on the Rage room experience.

Rage Room is not about encouraging rage and anger, but a fun, interactive activity that is an ideal team building exercise, allows you to de-stress or simply smash some stuff up in a safe environment.

Hannah our lovely host, made the experience even more enjoyable.  Hannah made us feel relaxed and created an electrifying atmosphere, you can clearly see her passion for this wild activity.

The ideal place to enjoy all that Birmingham has to offer in a plush and prestigious iconic building which has sleek sophisticated handcrafted furnishings and delightful decor.

The vibrant hotel reception is the ideal welcome, with fabulous futuristic lighting to match the buildings cube façade.

Loved the room number illuminated in a light box cube which led into the king feature room.
