Tipsy Tea at Slug & Lettuce Manchester Spinningfields – Review: March 2019

Located in the super Spinningfields location, right in the heart of Manchester’s vibrant city centre, the Slug and lettuce Spinningfields is the ideal place to share fun filled moments and create memories with family and friends.

Situated waterside, the wooden veranda terrace area is a scenic space to enjoy outdoor dining, drinking or both.

Inside interiors are floral themed with upholstered seating, Pink illuminated lighting and amazing artwork adorning the walls.

Welcomed warmly by excellent Emily, who served us fantastically throughout, we prepared to enjoy a tasty Tipsy Tea, as our space had been pre-reserved, so we were all good to go.

The Anthologist Manchester Afternoon Tea Review

The Anthologist Manchester Afternoon Tea Review: August 2018

Location One St Peters Square is the home of the Drake Morgan creation: The Anthologist Manchester City Centre. A relaxed homely hub, with a mix of eclectic décor, with a fresh fabulous natural vibe including planters, fresh fruit and herbs on display, throws, cosy scatter cushions, with a mix of bold and neutral colours that complement the ambience and atmosphere.

Offering a range of cocktails, spirits, beers and my choice the mocktails aka Absolut Proofs, you are spoilt for choice.  The Gorgeous Garden Fizz created with basil, blackberries, raspberries, lemon & agave.  The marvellous Market Fizz shaken with pomegranate juice, lemon, rose water, tonic & za’atar salt rim.

Also, the delicious Ginger Mimosa stirred up with orange juice, fresh ginger, rosemary & ginger ale.  Finally, the amazing Alchemist Cooler, rustled up with chilled peppermint tea, lemon, mint & tonic.

The Anthologist Afternoon Tea provides a generous serving of finger sandwiches, scones and beautiful cakes.

Sakana Manchester Pan Asian Afternoon Tea Review ***UPDATE – THIS RESTAURANT HAS NOW CLOSED***

Sakana Manchester Pan Asian Afternoon Tea Review: April 2017

Magnificent, modern and situated right in the heart of Manchester city centre is Sakana; a sophisticated mecca of all things Asian.  Split over two floors, with two bars and two kitchens this place has the facilitates to go all out and impress.  Décor was a mix of cool, chic and contemporary fixtures and fittings along with the vibrant Japanese themed, work of art, murals splashed on the walls.  This set the tone, which was a bustling cosmopolitan place, where one can socialise with friends, family and work colleagues alike.  Booth style window seating, which I loved, allowed us to take advantage of the sun without the strain on the eyes, thanks to good quality sun shields.
