The lovely Leeds Crowne Plaza, located in Leeds city centre, is a perfectly plush lovely luxury hotel with amazing amenities including an onsite health club, bar, restaurant, club lounge, meeting rooms and much more.

Immediately on arrival the team know how to make you feel at home and give you a reight Yorkshire welcome, you can tell the team genuinely care about their guests giving them the very best in hospitality and service.

Now if you arrive before check in, or in fact anytime during your stay, I highly recommend paying a visit to the onsite TAP Terrace Bar.

An oasis of calm and tranquillity, offering the perfect way to escape the city hustle and bustle. Sit back, relax with a glass of fizz or two and let the Leeds Crowne Plaza Team do what they do best – treating all of their guests like first class Rockstar’s!

All checked in we headed to the lift transporting us to our room and the accommodations are amazing.  Stylish and superiorly furnished throughout with a Queen-sized bed, flat screen TV, duel vanity/work desk

Now, after a travel we are always ready to hit the in-room tea tray and it will not disappoint with a nice selection of tea, coffee and of course some biscuits so you can get your dunk on.

The ensuite bathroom is the perfect place to enjoy some much needed pamper time, with full bath, shower and complimentary toiletries to use throughout your stay. You can also get snug and cosy as snuggle robes and slippers are provided in your room too.

Gin o’clock time thanks to the awesome welcome slate with a complimentary bottle of TAP Gin and a fully stocked mini bar…blooming marvellous stuff!

No need to head out, as the hotel have all your Food and Beverage needs covered, their onsite Tap Bar & restaurant is literally a hop, skip and jump away from your accommodations so there is no chance of getting hangry lol.

The restaurant décor has New York city chic with a combination of neutral shades, dark lined upholstery with bursts of warm colour detailing and has good non-pretentious relaxed vibes all round.

Indulge in Yorkshire’s finest food and drinks offerings which will make your lovely Leeds stay that little bit extra!  Our super scrummy starters of crispy squid and a beautiful buddha halloumi salad bowl got scoffed in record time.

Delve into drink paradise as the range of premium drink offerings such as spirits, wines etc are impressive. TAP’s carefully craft their cocktails to ensure you get the very best and all the cocktails we sampled were spot on!

Mouth-watering mains included the classics Steak and Fish & Chips with all the trimmings and both dishes are epic.

The details are all on point and you can even get a snap with the TAP hologram light feature, which is very cool, so get your ‘tap’ dancing shoes on lol!

Feeling full, but can’t resist hitting the sweet spot go on treat yourself to a dessert or even a liquid dessert as both the chocolate brownie and the Expresso martini made for an excellent end to the evening.

But what really made the evening was the super lovely Kevin (an absolute gem of a guy) and his hardworking TAP team who were superstar legends throughout the evening and we want to return just to catch up with all of them #TrueAuthenticYorkshireHospitality.

The hotel lobby centrepiece is their superb staircase and you know you can reach new heights as on this level is the infamous VIP Club Lounge.

Now, if you have gone all out and splurged on a stunning Club floor room you will have access to the onsite Club Lounge that serves a range of complimentary goodies throughout the course of the day including all day softies, tea and coffee then a dedicated evening slot for alcohol and hors d’oeuvres.

The Club lounge gives guests a perfect place to start an evening or chill for the evening, full of the right ambiance so well worth the room upgrade for sure. We indulged in nibbles, vino, beer, snacks and all complimentary too so winner winner!

After a superb sleep in I think some more you time is need so we visited the onsite Spirit Health Club which has a gym, jacuzzi, fully heated pool, sauna, steam room and it was just what was needed.

Swimming and gym time built up the appetite, so we got on the dialler and called up room service, glad we did, plenty of choice both continental and hot offerings, breakfast made easy.

There is also the option to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant too and it is a full buffet so everyone is spoilt for choice with a range of offerings such as pastries, cheeses, deli meats, fruit, yogurt and plenty of hotel full English options.

The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel Manchester Manchester is a lovely luxury hotel with industrial glamour in the heart of Manchester city centre.

The stunning terracotta grade II listed building dates back to 1890 when the building first opened as The Refuge Assurance Company headquarters.

The Victorian architecture, with a mix of a neutral and warm colour palate with many of the original features and columns still in place, provides a stunning setting for an exquisite and epic Manchester stay.

The moment you step through the doors you are literally welcomed with open arms and the friendliness and warmth instantly makes you feel at home.

Both Sally who checked us in and Dave from guest relations really made an instant impression – authentic Northern friendly vibes and loveliness just what you need after a long travel!

The hotel offers a range of accommodations including their stunning signature suites which are the perfect way to enjoy a Suite Manchester city escape in style.

Our suite was wonderful, the sympathetic renovation marries a mix of contemporary and traditional extremely well, and even offered not one but two cosy snug beds…I mean how dreamy!  Oh and how handy is the huge mirror perfect when you want to get ready for an evening out in Manchester.  

Beautiful bathroom with a roll top bath, enclosed power shower, incense sticks which smelt sensational and some divine toiletries for you to use complimentary throughout your stay.

The suite has carefully been designed and crafted to ensure that guests want for nothing.  Details such as the plush cushions with the beautiful Bee logo embossed onto the fabrics do not go unnoticed. There is even a tuck box with a range of complimentary treats and goodies for you to scoff at your leisure.

The lovely lounge area is jam packed with loveliness including a snug sofa, relaxer chair, cool record player, even cooler Manchester themed mini bar and a vintage dialler telephone which is perfect to order that relaxed room service breakfast which included continental buffet and speciality cook to order options.

Now, where to go for some fabulous food and drinks well you are covered as The Refuge is a superb onsite restaurant with all you need to get well fed and watered.  

The vibe is all about being relaxed, come as you are and just be you and enjoy yourself.  Every single team member was amazing throughout, and this is exactly what makes an evening extra special.

The Refuge has an extensive drinks menu including champagne, beers, spirits and of course their handcrafted cocktails, the excellent Expresso Marmalade Martini and their stunning Margarita, both mixed to perfection.

The food offerings began with some nibbles for the table including sour dough bread, pitta, dips, hummus and olives all super yummy.

The superb signature small plates are delicious and all amazing, but our favourites included the sea trout, prawns and the beautiful burrata.
