Premier Inn Hotel York City Blossom St North #Review

Premier Inn Hotel York City Blossom St North Review: March 2018

Located within walking distance from York train station and a short walk to York’s major attractions and activities Premier Inn York North on blossom Street is a perfect place for families, couples and friends to stay while playing in York.

Relaxed environment, offering new modern rooms with all the mod cons required to make your stay cosy and comfortable, the Premier Inn North was a homely hub and ideal for city sightseeing & exploring.

Dive into the luxury king-size dreamy hypno bed, with over 1000 individual pocket springs and a wonderful wool rich comfort layer, along with their plump pillows your pretty much guaranteed a snug, settled sleep with plenty of snooze’s.

A well-appointed tea tray, a bright bedside light, with the added bonus of some bedside reading literature, that was a lovely gift from the hotel staff, made a cosy end to a jam-packed day and evening sightseeing in York.

Why not make meal times easy and add on some food during your stay, offering an eclectic menu such as British classics, Italian nosh or Indian inspired dishes, head down to the Premier Inn York Table Table restaurant.

Seating arrangements were perfect for all, tables for two for cosy couples, larger tables for families and booths for groups.

The fabulous fish & chips with mushy peas and tartar and the yummy Vegan burger with lashings of fries and a fresh side salad really hit the spot.

Embracing York’s chocolate heritage, we opted for the super yummy chocolate orange dessert and the 3 classic puds along with custard – delicious.

Inviting restaurant, with simple yummy food and excellent service from our sensational server Kien and manager Sally made for a delightful dinner.

Make sure you loosen your belts, for a breakfast bonanza, as the Premier Inn breakfast is the business. A fabulous feast which includes unlimited Costa coffee, Twinning’s tea and a selection of fruit juices.

Also, continental choices such as bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, granola, pastries and much more.  Cooked offerings included premium sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans, mushrooms and they even serve vegetarian Quorn sausages which gets a big thumbs up from me.

Fancy a premier stay in York without the price tag, book yourself into the York City Blossom Street North Premier Inn and you will be well fed, have a snug warm cosy bed right in the heart of all the action.

Thank you for reading 😊

  1. Premier Inns look like a lovely company to stay in. With everything you need to hand and a great price. York seems like an amazing place too.

  4. Great review. I’ve been to York once but never got a chance to explore the city. And I’ve always had a comfortable stay in Premier Inn hotels. Sounds like this one would be a good one to stay in x

  6. This is a good example of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” – I wouldn’t have picked this hotel just based on the exterior, but your review and the photos have me putting it on a must-see list!

  7. I like Premier Inn and I stay there quite a lot when I travel inside the UK and to/from the airports. They have always great deals, and to pay only £35 a night and stay near Gatwick for example is always good value for money. Their beds are amazing as well.
